笔者并不是一名“科蜜”，但思来想去，在我的记忆里也只有科比退役和科比球衣退役的演讲作为前两期推送的内容最为合适，一者是缅怀这位篮球传奇超巨，二者是曼巴精神应当被传承，无论是今年被推上了风口浪尖的湖人队还是每一个站立在球场上你我他，就应当为了胜利而敢于拼尽全力。

第001期丨科比球衣退役演讲

Thank you so much for tonight. But it's not about my jerseys that are hanging up there for me, It's about the jerseys that were hanging up there before.

感谢你们，感谢今晚，并不是因为我的球衣悬挂在了那里，而是先前已经退役了球衣的前辈们。

Without them, I couldn't be here today. They inspired me to play the game at a higher level. Magic,Cap,Shaq pushing me every day. Baylor. Chamberlain. Goodrich. West. Worthy. It goes on and on.

And it's also about the next generation, it's about current Lakers roster that we have here.

今晚也关乎湖人的下一代，也就是湖人现在的球员。

It's about embodying the spirit that exists in those jerseys up there and carryingthis organization forward so that the next 20 years are better than the past 20 years. That's what it's about.

把那些球衣里面承载的精神传承给他们，推动湖人继续前行，让下一个20年比上一个20年更好。这才是最重要的。

And then it’s also about the fans, the media. I don’t think you guys understand how present your guys were with me.

第四，我想对球迷和媒体说，你们大概不知道你们的陪伴对我多么的重要。

You guys were there with me at 5:30 in the morning, when I was running in the track, I was middle way through my workout. I didn’t know if I could make it through. But I thought about the expectations you guys have for me, you have for our team. It push me through, it got me through those 800, 400, 100 at 5:30 in the morning, so I thank you.

无论是我早晨起来跑步、训练，还是在我不知道是否还能够继续的时候，我都会想到你们对我的期待，对球队的期待，这支撑着我在早上完成了800米，400米，100米，因此，我衷心的感谢你们。

And it’s about family, it’s about my wife, Vanessa. You guys didn’t notice, but in the last game, my last game that we had here against Utah Jazz, I was really tired.

第五，关于我的家庭，我的妻子瓦妮莎。有个你们不知道的事情，在我的最后一场比赛，是对阵犹他爵士，那时候我真的累了。

I got home and I was like you know what, I don’t know if I could do this thing. I got one more game left, but I don’t have any legs.

我回到家说你知道吗，我不知道自己是否还能继续下去。我就剩下一场比赛了，但我实在没有力气了。

She said I want show something, I got a gift for you, for your last game. She proceed to show me a roll of retired jerseys from Baylor, from Magic, from Shaq, from Kareem. All the personal message is a sign for me, including from Michael Jordan, including from the great Bill Russell , including from the great Larry Bird. When I saw that I knew then that I had to turn it up. I had to turn it up. So thank you baby for being an inspiration to me.

And lastly our daughters, Natalia, Gianna and Bianka. I hope tonight you guys know that if you do the work, if you work hard enough dreams come true. You know that we all know that.

But hopefully what you get from tonight is understanding that: Those times when you get up early and you work hard, those times when you stay up late and you work hard, those times when you don’t feel like working, you’re too tired and you don’t want to push yourself but you do it anyway. That is actually the dream. That’s the dream. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.

但是我希望你们过了今晚会明白，那些你起早努力的日子，那些你熬夜工作的日子，那些你觉得太累再也不想站起来却依然坚持的日子，那就是真正实现梦想的力量，梦想重要的不是结果，而是过程。

And if you guys can understand that, then what you will see happen is that, you won’t accomplish your dreams, your dreams won’t come true, something greater will. If you guys can understand that, then I’m doing my job as a father.

如果你们意识到这一点，然后你们会发现，梦想不一定会成真，但你一定会愈加优秀。如果你们记住了这一点，我也算是尽到了一名父亲的职责。
